Carbon Planet is a specialised carbon management business, which can help businesses understand the process of a Carbon Auditing, which includes obtaining carbon credits and implementing strategies to address the audit findings. 
 
Carbon Planet used a three step strategy to construct an Energy Audit:
 
1. Organise and calculate greenhouse gas emissions produced through the businesses activities. This provides an understanding of what a businesses carbon footprint is.
 
2. The results are used by Carbon Planet to develop a comprehensive carbon management plan. 
 
3. A breakdown of the energy usage across all business activities is used to create strategies to reduce emissions through simple, economical and efficient means.
